I came across an interesting website this week – Perceptual Edge. The author of the site has a page with examples of really, really bad graphs in powerpoint with his alternate version below

Wow! I am such a sucker!
When I went to login to my gmail account I saw a screen offering to back date mail and other sleezy things. I was well into a full blown “WHAT! but they… that’s just….” when someone pointed out todays date.
Oh.
