I am planning to restructure the content a bit. I am hoping to add links to tutorial files I use in classes and to have the resources be grouped in a more cohesive way. Just a heads up.
If you have a mac (sorry no pc versions) and you haven’t seen the Omni Group website – you owe ito to yourself to check it out. I mentioned “Getting Things Done” in an earlier post. This is where you find Omni Focus which was built based on the GTD book.
The Omni Graffle product makes Visio and Powerpoint graphic tools look ancient!
.. and have, or are getting Photoshop CS3.
Check out this book – Real World Camera Raw
I never thought I’d say “don’t do your big edits in Photoshop, do them in Camera Raw” but the new version of the software and this book are making me reconsider that position.

Ed. Note - If you want an easy way to have your digital photos printed, check out Snapfish! I’m very happy with the price and quality. Small prints for .09 cents is awsome.
This is in the same line as the previous post on “Getting Things Done” and 43 folders.
If you can, take about 45 min and watch this video – http://www.43folders.com/2007/07/25/merlins-inbox-zero-talk. Merlin is not only a good presenter but gave me much to think about. After watching this I took my inbox from 600 unread emails to 2. I’m keeping it lower than before (50-100) and can get it to zero a few times a month.
I also found his PowerPoint slides interesting. At first blush I hated them because they were so sparse but having checked out a book recommendation from Merlin, Presentation Zen, I am beginning to appreciate them a bit more.
If you have not seen it, consider finding “Getting Things Done” in your local bookstore.
It is fantastic! I am taking much of the advice to heart in getting my home office under control. In the same vein, there is a website 43 folders that is very helpful. The 43 folders piece is from the GTD book and will make more sense in context.
